ABOUT THE JOB

Sales Manager

Your Impact Starts Here

We’re looking for a hands-on Sales Manager to lead, coach, and scale our sales function.

This role is ideal for someone who can build structure, support a sales team, and drive results in a fast-moving environment. You’ll work closely with leadership, marketing, and customer success to grow revenue while maintaining a strong customer-first culture.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a sales team

  • Own sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting

  • Build and improve sales processes, playbooks, and onboarding

  • Participate in deals, and possible negotiations

  • Set clear expectations and hold reps accountable to goals

  • Partner with marketing on lead quality and messaging

  • Collaborate with customer success to improve retention and expansion

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and improvement areas

Skills & Qualifications

Who you are:

  • A builder who enjoys creating structure in a fast-growing startup.

  • Curious, proactive, and self-motivated with a bias for action.

  • Comfortable in a remote, collaborative environment.

  • Strong communicator—able to write outreach copy and record short personalized videos.

  • Confident managing pipeline, forecasting, and tracking metrics.

What you bring:

  • 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in trades, SaaS, or SMB

  • Previous experience managing or mentoring sales reps

  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and value-based sales

  • Ability to earn trust with blue-collar business owners

  • Comfortable with CRMs, sales tools (HubSpot), and reporting

  • Direct, honest communication style with a coaching mindset

  • Data-driven but people-first approach to leadership

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction companies

  • Startup or growth-stage company experience

  • Experience building sales processes from scratch
